Dallas Heroes Basketball Academy categorizes team play into three distinct levels so that our player development agenda aligns with competition:

Select – a new team that has potential.  Players are one year or more into select basketball with ambition to become national quality players.  Team plays their age group against local competition and is competitive.  Beginning to learn Heroes Basketball.

Regional – a team that has proven itself locally by executing skills on the court, winning an appropriate amount and playing Heroes Basketball.  They are ready to take on new, more competitive teams in regional tournaments.

Elite – a team that has competed regionally and nationally at the highest level. Consistently demonstrates Heroes Basketball.  Have a number of highly skilled players that have college level aspirations. At the high school level, players are considered in the top 100 in Texas and top 500 nationally.
