Chris Givens

Head Coach

Chris is a long-time DFW coach with more than 10 years to his credit. He’s a former player with All-American credentials, is the all-time leading scorer at Tarleton State University and is in the TSU Hall of Fame. Chris is a motivating presence with an assertive approach to developing talent. He expects the best from the players he coaches and we are happy to say, he usually get’s it.

Clint Fuqua

Director, Performance Training

Clint brings more than 15 years of experience training professional, college and high school athletes.  Over the past year, Clint researched the top performance training programs in the country, including top D1 colleges and branded programs from Nike, to set the curriculum for our aspiring athletes.  DHBA has a comprehensive, year round program that aligns with school schedules, spring ball and summer camps. The program, Lift Off, is designed to develop players from grade school through college into the most explosive athletes possible.  Of course, avoiding injury and implementing a quality nutrition program are part of the mix.

Clint has more education and certifications to mention.  Clint is also a recognized speaker, blogger and radio personality.

Mariqus Alexander

Head Coach

Don’t let the pleasant smile and easy going demeanor fool you. Mariqus is an intense competitor who sets the bar high. He has coached select teams for more than seven years. In 2007, Marquis was a co-founder of the Stallions, a Dallas-based year round club.  Mariqus focuses on developing teams that play national, elite schedules – with an eye for teaching the fundamentals.
